We are delighted to announce that Andrew Flower, global leader of disputes and international arbitration at a Big Four accountancy firm, will be joining Haberman Ilett as a partner from 1 June 2018. Andrew, who has worked in Paris since 1999, will open Haberman Ilett’s first overseas office.
As one of the leading centres of arbitration, Paris is the natural location for Haberman Ilett’s second office. Andrew is the perfect fit for our growing firm as he comes with 25 years’ experience of providing expert testimony in international arbitration around the world (Europe, US, Middle East, and Australasia). Andrew is also fluent in French and has lived in Paris for much of the last 20 years. Under his leadership we are looking forward to developing our firm’s capability and capacity in Paris.
Andrew has provided evidence in over 100 arbitrations under the auspices of various institutions including the ICC, AAA/ICDR, ICSID, DIAC, NAI, DIS and under UNCITRAL rules. He has testified before Tribunals around the world including in Washington DC, New York, London, Paris, The Hague, Stockholm, Geneva, Zurich, Dubai, Singapore and Brisbane.
Andrew’s experience means he is ideally equipped to lead Haberman Ilett’s expansion into Continental Europe. The accessibility of our services and the level of support that we are able to provide to our clients will be enhanced by the growth in capability and capacity established by the Paris office. It will also offer challenging and rewarding opportunities for the broader Haberman Ilett team to develop their skills as experts, both in the UK and beyond.
Please join us in welcoming Andrew to the team.
