Haberman Ilett is sponsoring a series of free accounting and valuation training events to support lawyers in understanding quantum and valuation in litigation and arbitration. This series is a fantastic opportunity for lawyers at all levels to learn from some of the leading female accounting experts in London.
There are three separate seminars in the series, each lasting for 2.5hrs and held at the London offices of Debevoise & Plimpton. Participants are encouraged to attend all three, the first of which is on Tuesday 11 July: ‘Understanding and Deciphering Accounts and the Assessment of Damages in “but for” Scenarios’.
Liz Perks and Vikki Wall, partners at Haberman Ilett, will be presenting at the second seminar on 12 September: ‘Valuation basics’. At the seminar, Liz and Vikki will be covering the bases of value (e.g. fair/market value), key valuation principles, different valuation approaches and how they fit together (income, market and cost), valuation discounts and premiums and analysis of companies, after which there will be networking, drinks and canapes where members of the Haberman Ilett leadership team will be available to receive questions.
Liz Perks said: “Anyone working in litigation or arbitration can apply for a place at one or all three of these free events, which will offer top quality training from accounting experts with extensive experience. All the trainers are female, which demonstrates the quality of the female talent pool that exists within the professional services community in London.”
